  • Paul played at 1. His opponent being Ravanth Baskaran. Paul lost 1-3, but the scores reflect the hard work put into every touch of the ball, particularly so in the first 2 games. Scores: 14/17, 15/12, 5/15, 7/15. Again, playing at 1 allows other team players a chance to play at their potential.
  • Ben Andrianiko played at 2. Opponent was Bertie Hillier. Ben lost 1-3. Scores 9/15, 15/12, 7/15, 4/15. Ben showed the potential that lies within, especially so in the second game. Once Ben is able to master the nerves that he experiences in team matches, he will become a massive asset and formidable player for any of our home teams.
  • Chris Beale played at 3. Narrowly losing to Joe Lillington. Score 2-3, 17/15, 14/17, 14/17, 15/12, 7/15. What a battle. With around 40 years age difference, a rather impressive display of fitness shown throughout by Chris.
  • Crispin Seabrook played Oliver Robson at 4. A narrow loss for Crispin, unlucky, great effort. Scores: 2-3, 15/17, 17/47, 17/14, 8/15, 3/15. A mighty battle.
  • James Ridd played Louis Clayton at 4. A 3-0 win for James. Scores 15/4, 15/7, 15/5. We think Louis was so captivated by James long dark hair (kept neatly in place with a bun) that the poor chap thought he was still in the warm up.
